It's time to up your membership for the 2012-2013 season. Renewals can be accessed from the Members Area. You can also now donate to the LOA Scholarship fund using Paypal in the same location.

This is geared towards NEW officials if there are any out there looking to learn officiating, and officials of level 1 thru 4 are also invited, that are current frosh/JV officials or those looking to become officials at those levels. We are using this to teach and for tune up and evaluation.

There will be a classroom session included in the camp on Friday November 18 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm at Brookfield East High School. It is a valuable chance to be seen and recognized which can help build a schedule, by knowing who you are and your abilities on the court

On Saturday referee equipment and uniform is required since they will be working games. Friday night please brings writing utensils, and paper for notes, handouts will be given..

This clinic is for newer officials, and experienced officials looking to tune up before the season or gain some feedback for those looking to get into the different high school levels (Frosh, JV and varsity). It is a valuable chance to be seen and recognized which can help build a schedule, by knowing who you are and your abilities on the court. Clinicians will be on hand to take notes on the games worked.

LOA is going to also put on a clinic for 3-person officiating/training for high school officials, on Saturday November 19, with a classroom session on November 18, location to be announced.

LOA is going to put on a clinic for 2-person officiating for prospective high school officials on Saturday November 19, with a classroom session on November 17, we will soon announce the site of this.

The clinic will provide information on 2 person mechanics, game management, communication, standards of officials, court positioning, and skills to help build a schedule among other topics.

Hello everyone...
Through some recent discussions and planning we are sending the word out now about our upcoming event that will raise funds for the scholarship fund as we try to do every year. We are calling out to all the basketball officials to lend us a hand if we can get a couple of hours out of everyone to contribute something to our association. Attendance and assistance can be a possible benefit down the road for you.

Board meeting minutes are now posted online in the Members Area. Stay on top of what your board is doing for you!

Join us for the LOA Beginners Referee Camp at Brookfield Central High School for first time to 2 year officials.

Classroom activities will be held on Thursday, June 2 from 6PM 9PM with more classroom activities and floor work on Saturday, June 4 from 9AM to noon.

Cost of the clinic is $45 which includes classroom materials, a whistle, elevation of a grade level from the WIAA, and the possibility of being hired to officiate at various summer leagues. Proceeds go towards the LOA High School Scholarship Fund.
